This project is a visual representation of the way our everyday lives are underpinned/guided by these unwritten rules which in turn arise from our unique personalities. More often than not, these rules go unnoticed, and yet they become accepted and adhered to by everyone. One simple example which has been observed in my own family is how every member has their preferred/favourite mug, which is then automatically reserved for that family member, even though no official ownership has ever been established. In this way, many if not most of our daily decisions are influenced by those living around us.
